El Rocallis

El Rocallis is a cuvée made from 100% Incrocio Manzoni, a cross between Riesling and Pinot Blanc originating from Friuli and planted by Carlos in 1988. It is aged in 100% new French oak for 4-5 months followed by at least 2 years of aging in the bottle. It also displays a penetrating minerality but is weightier and creamier than the Calma.

WOW, Manzoni bianco in Spanje! Ik hou enorm van die druif, maar wat wil je, volgens Ian d'Agatha zou recent genetisch onderzoek uitwijzen dat het een kruising is van Riesling met Chardonnay.

La Calma,
Made from hand-picked grapes grown on 25-30 year-old vines. Fermented and aged in French oak for 4-5 months without the addition of selected yeasts and aged 24 months in the bottle prior to release.

La Calma 2015,
100% Chenin Blanc, gekweekt op een uniek perceel van 0,89 ha, bijna uitsluitend fossiele kalk. Er werden niet meer dan 2400 flessen van gemaakt.
