Señorío de San Vicente - Rioja - fleer - 10-02-2018 07:30 PM

The Eguren family has always shown great respect for its land and with the Señorío de San Vicente estate its aim has been to revive an almost extinct indigenous variety: the Tempranillo Peludo (literally 'Hairy', referring to the underside of the leaf). Señorío de San Vicente is, effectively, a project founded on the idea of producing a single wine, originating from a single vineyard (Finca La Canoca, an 18 ha site) and made from a single variety.

The winery is located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a village lying in a privileged position between the mountains of the Sierra de Cantabria and the banks of the River Ebro.

San Vincente 2008; decanteren aanbevolen, toegankelijk, full body, typisch Rioja, mokka, kruidig. 91p
