What to drink in 2019: Burgundy - Fre - 20-02-2019 03:14 PM
Een interessant stukje over welke Bourgondische jaargangen al kunnen gedronken worden:

Ik moest bij het lezen denken aan Olivier's stukje die een tijdje terug een village Chablis 2014 van La Chablisienne dronk die nog zeer moeilijk was: The 2014 vintage is arguably the best for white Burgundy in living memory, and many of the wines can feel aggressively austere at the moment – I would recommend forgetting them for at least another five years, as even village and some regional-level wines will benefit from further time in bottle.

Klopt ook wat hij schrijft over Chablis 2014 / 2015. Onlangs een 1°cru 2014 open en die was niet erg communicatief, terwijl de 2015 zich reeds zeer goed toonde.

Ook dit klopt overigens als ik terug denk aan de Beaune 1er cru Cent Vignes van Pierre Bize die ik onlangs open trok :
“Its successor, ‘01, has long been a favourite of mine, often somewhat reticent when first opened but unfurling nicely with air to give wines which are full of charm, if not possessing much potential for improvement.”
