Product Description

In September of 2001, a society of 8 partners was formed named "La Vinya del Vuit, S.L." (the vineyard of the 8). The soul of this project is the couple formed by young and famous winemakers René Barbier Jr. (Clos Mogador) and Sara Perez (Clos Martinet). The rest of the partners are friends of René and Sara - El 8 are: Sara Pérez, Montserrat Mateos, Ester Nin, Nuria Pérez, René Barbier Jr, Philippe Thévenon, Iban Foix and Julián Basté. They bought land located in Gratallops, taking advantage of the extremely old vines on these schist-filled hills to create this new and exciting enterprise. They currently produce only one bottling, and that singular wine in extremely limited quantity. Harvest is always by hand at this tiny estate and is carried out only in the early hours of the morning.

Ooit eens gekocht voor 30€ en dat is aanvaardbaar, blend van Grenache en Carignan.
Deze is natuurlijk overroepen door alle klinkende namen die erop staan ... ik heb wel enkel de 2004 gedronken ...
Typisch Priorat, iets te hoog in zijn zuren. 91p

Dit zijn de mooie projecten Patrik. Niet makkelijk om er aan te geraken. Weet overigens niet of deze wijn nu nog gemaakt wordt. Dacht het van niet....

2013 is te koop aan 70€ in Spanje dus ik denk dat het project nog leeft ... voor dat geld heb je wel betere Priorat.
